Physiotherapy now Available at SBG Concorde

Just a reminder to all our members who may need treatment, our in-house physio Dee Ryan is available. Her philosophy in treatment is to target all impairments and predisposing factors to injury. This specific approach to rehabilitation minimizes the risk of re-injury.

Dee holds a Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia, and a degree in Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin. Dee also holds additional qualifications in Dry Needling, Kinesiology taping, Muscle Energy Techniques for Lumbar and Pelvic Dysfunctions and a Level 2 Sports Trainer Certificate. She has extensive experience working with elite athletes and the general public in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Dee offers Physiotherapy evaluations, treatments and screening services. Screenings are for individuals with no specific injury that are keen for preventative action. Dee has designed a whole body screening specific to MMA, the purpose being to highlight any asymmetries in terms of strength, length and functional abilities. The results are analysed and then explained with the prescription of a preventative exercise plan in the follow-up screening. Screenings ultimately improve performance whilst by-passing any potential injuries.
